Ziggy Hub Privacy Policy
Effective October 4, 2026
Ziggy Hub ("Ziggy") is made by Adam Williams, an individual in California. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Adam Williams. Questions go to [email protected].
The short version
Ziggy is your own AI that lives in your home. We don't collect your data, we don't sell your data, and we run no servers that keep it. What Ziggy learns stays on your own devices and your home hub. When you connect Ziggy to another company, that company's own privacy policy covers what it collects.
What stays in your home
Ziggy's brain runs on a small computer in your home (the "hub") and in the Ziggy app on your own phone or tablet. These stay there:
- Faces, camera video and photos of people. Face recognition runs on the hub. No image of a person is sent to any cloud service.
- Voice recordings, the wake word and speech to text. These run on the hub.
- Ziggy's memory: the notes, lists, routines and preferences you teach it. You can open, read, change, export or delete all of it at any time.
- Sign-in keys for the services you connect. They are kept in your device's secure keychain or on your hub, never in logs or messages.
What we receive
Nothing from the app, unless you choose to send it:
- Email. If you write to [email protected], we receive your message and email address and use them only to reply.
- Crash reports. Only if you say yes. They never contain conversation text, pictures or names.
Ziggy has no analytics, no tracking, no advertising and no ad partners. We don't sell or share personal information.
Things Ziggy never collects
Ziggy is built to leave out private history it doesn't need, even when you import information from another AI: past relationships, anything sexual, children's and teens' private conversations, mental health and medical history, legal trouble, other people's secrets, and finances beyond a simple summary.
Companies you choose to connect
Ziggy only talks to another company when you connect it and sign in on that company's own page. Ziggy never sees your password for those services. Once connected, what that company collects is covered by its own privacy policy, not this one.
- Your AI company (for example Anthropic's Claude, OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Gemini or xAI's Grok). When you talk to Ziggy, the words of the conversation (as text) go to the AI company you chose, under your own account. Never your face, your video or your voice recording.
- Stores (for example Kroger), so Ziggy can find products, prices, aisles and stores near you, and add items to your own cart when you ask.
- Home and car services (for example Google Nest, Ring, Spotify, Sonos, ecobee and Tesla), so Ziggy can read and control the devices you link.
Ziggy uses information from these services only to do what you ask in your home. It is not sold, not used for ads, and not used to train AI models.
Anything that would spend money (for example starting paid car charging or placing an order) waits for you to confirm on your own device first.
Children
Ziggy is a family helper set up by a parent or guardian. Children's faces and voices are added only by a parent, are stored only on the hub, and can be deleted in one tap. We don't knowingly receive personal information from children. If you think a child has emailed us personal information, write to us and we'll delete it.
Deleting your information
Because your information lives on your own devices, you're in control of it. You can erase Ziggy's memory and connections from the app's settings, sign out of any connected service, or remove the app and the hub software. To delete anything you have emailed us, write to [email protected].
Our website
myziggyhub.com has no trackers, no cookies and no analytics. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which handles the basic technical information every website visit needs (such as your IP address) to deliver and protect the site.
California residents
California law gives you the right to know what personal information a business collects, to ask for it to be deleted or corrected, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We don't sell or share personal information, and the only personal information we hold is email you send us. To make a request, write to [email protected]. We won't treat you differently for asking.
Security
Sign-in keys are stored in your device's secure keychain or on your hub and never written to logs. Connections to outside services use encrypted links. No system is perfectly secure, so keep your devices updated and protected with a passcode.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it on this page and change the date at the top. If a change matters, Ziggy will tell you in the app.
